Yael Stone

Stone was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She went to Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began her acting career as a child, with roles in the films Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. The main area of her work was theater. Stone was awarded Best Newcomer in the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and the title of Best Supporting actress in The Kid. Also, she appeared on television and film, with roles as supporting actors in All Saints and Spirited. From 2010 to 2011, she appeared in The Diary of a Madman in which she was nominated as the best supporting actress at The Sydney Theatre Awards. In February 2011 she flew to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman and then returned to the the lead roles of A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
